BOOK WRITTEN BY SHARK VICTIM

Shark victim Peter Clarkson co-authored the book “Australia's Spectacular Cowries: A Review and Field Study of Two Endemic Genera--Zoila and Umbilia” with Barry Wilson. Peter also took 100s of the photos in the hardcover book (1^st edition 2004), including the one on the front cover. It includes taxonomic indexes to both cowries and sponges.

Mako attack on captured marlin

The story regarding a mako shark attacking a captured marlin off of Pt Stephens, NSW which was on page 1 of The Advertiser 11/2/11 also featured on Channel 9 TV's "A Current Affair" that same night.
